Why We Built ALRT
ALRT began because we kept seeing the same problem: critical safety information exists, but it’s scattered and hard to find when people need it most.
In Australia and overseas, fires, floods, severe weather, police incidents, and travel risks move faster than official updates. Families, commuters, and travellers are left piecing together information from multiple sources just to understand what’s happening around them.
For Sarah, a veteran medic, this was personal, she’s seen firsthand that clear, timely information saves lives. For Matt, a global cybersecurity professional who saw the real problem: organizations drowning in uncurated threat intelligence, everyday people with nothing at all.
